We are offering extended validity on renewals to anyone whose CEA Card usage has been affected by the COVID-19 Coronavirus shutdown. Read this page to find out more.
All UK cinemas were required to close in mid-March in response to the COVID-19 outbreak to ensure the safety of both audiences and team members.
But many cinemas are now re-opening again and looking forward to welcoming guests back to enjoy a safer big screen experience. You can find more information on the safeguarding measures that have been put in place, the cinemas that are open and the films they will be playing at the Love Cinema website.
We know that during the period of closure CEA cardholders were not able to use their cards. In recognition of this we are pleased to confirm that we will be offering everyone affected an extended validity on their next card when the affected card is renewed.
So if your CEA Card was issued between 16th March 2019 and 31st August 2020, when you come to renew it your next card will be valid for 18 months instead of 12. If your CEA card is not due for renewal currently, you don’t need to do anything now.
You will need to quote your CEA card number when you renew to enable us to make the adjustment to your next card expiry date.
