How to Apply

You can apply for your CEA card online or by post. You will need to provide a photograph for ID and proof of your eligibility.

Online Application

Complete and submit the application form on this website. To speed up your application you may upload a photograph file and a digital copy of your eligibility documents to the website. If you don't wish to upload your documents you can still complete the application form online and then send the documents by post. You may pay online or by post.

(NB: eligibility documents need to include your name, address and qualifying allowance, e.g. PIP, or blind registration. Multiple pages will need to be combined into a single Word or PDF document.)

Postal Application

Print the blank application form from this website. Complete your application and post it to us. Remember to include your ID photograph, a copy of your eligibility documents and your cheque or postal order for the processing fee. Application forms are also available from participating cinemas.

Renew your Card

If you have a CEA Card which is due to expire, you can apply to renew it for a further 12 months using either of the above methods.

Payment Options

You can pay the £6.00 processing fee by:

  • PayPal
  • Credit / Debit Cards
  • Cheque or Postal Order (made payable to CEA CARD)

Eligibility

People who receive one of the following benefits are eligible for the CEA Card:

  • Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
  • Attendance Allowance (AA)
  • Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
  • Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
  • Severely Sight Impaired Registration (formerly Registered Blind)
  • Sight Impaired Registration (formerly Partially Sighted)

Cardholders must be 8 years of age or older.

Eligibility criteria may be updated from time to time.

Delivery and Returns

Delivery will take up to 5 working days after we receive payment. Postage is included in the £6.00 processing fee.

When you receive your card, check that the details are correct and the card is not damaged. If you are not satisfied, then you should contact us immediately.

Replacement Cards

The CEA Card is issued on behalf of the UK Cinema Association (UKCA) and remains the property of the UKCA. Please keep the card safe.

If your CEA Card is lost, stolen or damaged then you will need to re-apply for a replacement. You will need to re-supply your eligibility documents and re-pay the £6.00 processing fee.
